You are so excited about getting a good part in your school play. Then you look at the script.
You see that you have A LOT of lines. Normally you would be excited but you have to memorize them all in
one month. When it is the day before the play and you only know half of your line, you finally talk to the director. You can't even put into words how mad
he was. You still need to learn your lines in one night. This isn't too bad until you remember that you are
going to your favorite band's concert tonight. There is no way you can do both. The play is very
important but the concert is a once in a life time opportunity. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

answer 1://Stupid question. The play represents a responsibility. A contract that
you entered into when you agreed to be in the play. You have no choice but to
meet your responsibilities. The band (which represents a pleasurable
alternative) is not even a serious alternative. The teacher had every right to
be mad, and the author of this question did not even pose a serious dilemma.
